My experience of cats is that they are smart, but not in a consistent way(or at least how a human would understand consistency). My first cat (who lived to be over 20 years old, was extremely healthy all her life bless her tabby paws) could open doors by jumping onto the door handle and hanging on until it opened. She did this every time she wanted to get through a door. She also liked watching people take baths though...

One of ours has recently taken to meowing at her reflection in the glass of the oven door. Its very strange - she'll sit there for half an hour doing it if you don't interrupt her.

the dogs keep enturders aways..by barking...the cat keeps me awake by piss and moaning cause i forgot to feed her for 2 days
