No Biometric Yet... please advise

Hi,

I have sent my I-751 on 4th May and my package was recieved on 6th May. Checked was cashed on 13th May and I recived 1yr extension letter on 18th May. Its almost going to be 1 month on next 6th June and I havent yet recieved my biometric letter yet. I do see other people who have same time line and have recived the biometric letter.

I am getting worried and concerned. I will appreciate if you can please advise on the below questions:

1. Should I call USCIS and check with them.

2. I dont have their number to call, do any one have the number.

3. The WAC# on 1 yr letter extension letter is not working on the USCIS site, is there any other number which I have to use to check the case status.

it depends on your local ASC... if it is busy then it takes longer... you cannot go by others as it has no direct correlation... the only comparable are others in your locality

I'm in the same boat. I'm also waiting for my biometrics notice. I submitted my ROC application in late April, received my NOA about a couple of weeks later but haven't gotten my bio notice yet...

Same thing for me. It'd been over a month for me, and I still haven't recieved my biometric yet. I called the center and the guy that I talked to told me to wait. There is nothing he could do for me. I'm getting worry because I might missed the appointment and we planning to take a trip in the middle of July. I'm soo worried, I don't know what to do? Any advice from any body? Thanks.

Hello Folks,

CSC has been little bit slow lately in sending out NOA and especially biometric appointments. I have seen this on VJ that since last 2 months or so they are taking on average of 1 month to send out biometric appointments.

If you guys don't get the biometric after 30-45 days of when you received NOA, make an infopass for the field office near to you.

Will tell you the field based on your location.

On the 1st page choose "You need Service on a case that has already been filed " and then on the next page choose "If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment."

Go to Info pass appointment before appointment time (10-30 mins) and ask the IO (Immigration Officer) that you applied for I-751 and didn't get the biometric appointment letter and would like to have your biometric/finger prints taken.

Most field offices do have the facility and would do it for you, if you didn't get the appointment for almost 2 months, since you got your NOA.

The speed of your biometrics will depend on your local office. I already got my biometrics appointment, but as I recall from my AOS application Boston is quite speedy.

Same here. I filed my application on April 22 and no biometrics notice yet. I am so worried. I called USCIS on 05-25-09 and they told me all i need to do is to wait. If after 45 days and i still no notice, i need to call them again. I don't know what is happening.
