Awesome.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Thanks for the prayers guys! Malek is eating very good today and toddling around. As much as I want to keep him in a bubble I can't. He is quietly sitting in the floor playing with fire truck. Thank God he has taken care of our little man.

Sandrilla...my husband has gotten a farmers tan since working in landscaping. He actually got a sunburn the other day too. Glad to hear you had a good time.

Malek sounds like I was when I was a wee one, I broke my arm twice before I was 8 years old, always doing things I should have not done. I will keep him in my thoughts  He is a real cutie, wait until he hits his teens and GIRLS come into the picture.

GG I think that will be when my problems actually start! Did I tell you girls that my fifth grader came home last week in tears because a boy on the bus was bothering her. I got down to the bottom of it and he held her down and kissed her and hugged her. My husband threw a coniption. He was ready to go to the principal's office right then and there and of course no principal is in at 430 on a Friday night! He said I should have paged him! I did speak with the principal which in turn watched the video and suspended the boy's bus privilages for a week.

Happy Tuesday Mena :energy: I'm off work for the next 10 days!!! This is a GREAT feeling!

Tomorrow morning at 830am I will have my left side wisdom teeth out. Im not thrilled about going to sleep for it, but I just want it over with.

I got my yearly eval done at work today and I got an exceeds on it  My assistant manager had to get approval from the Co Mgr bcz almost nobody gets an exceeds, so I feel honored and I truly am thankful bcz its the highest you can get for a Walmart eval. It goes into affect on July 12th which will be my 9th yr with Walmart.

Hope everyone is doing good! I saw Olivia's wedding pictures on FB and they are awesome! Beautiful dress, makeup, hair and beautiful pictures! What an awesome feeling to know that after so long they are finally together.

I have a chi straightener and it works great, but... it gets wayyy too hot and my hands burn when I use it thru my hair... it does make my hair super straight though. Im thinking about getting my hair cut short so it would be much easier and faster to straighten.

Totally agree!

Tamara, you should be using a comb and pull the chi through your hair after you have a section...don't use your hands, ouch! :D

Waiting on Wednesday thread.... :jest:

I want a chi! I have been using one that I had bought from Target and it is a Conair. It gets really warm and does a pretty good job. I have a few stubborn hairs that want to stick up that it takes more work to get down than the chi does. I just don't have the extra cash for one right now. Great brand though!

My middle child, Mia uses a straightener, oh say about the last 2 years (at least).

Her hair became a bird's nest.

I hate my hair because it is so straight.

Her hair is wavy and so pretty but she killed it.

Combine that with the pool chemicals in the summer and it is a travesty.

As they say..you always want what you don't have.

I have straight hair and really wish it wasn't so straight.

I can't do anything with it. Barely holds a perm if I get one.

My girls have great hair thank god. Thick and wavy.

I just wish my hair wouldn't keep getting so thin :help:

I have this stuff that I spray on my hair before I use my hot iron. It is made by Tres Semme and it is specifically for heat products. If she likes her hair like that you may want to try something like this if you haven't. My hair is super healthy and I flat iron it every day and use conditioner on it daily as well.

I had a friend that her hair was thinning and you could almost see her scalp and she took Biotin and it helped to thicken her hair. You may want to try to take that if it is thinning.
