You may use either one - if you plan to be known as your married name, it is best to use the married name on the AOS/EAD forms (so you don't have to go through the trouble of changing the name later).

Hello,

I used the services of a lawyer to do AOS, they filled all the forms with my maiden name.

However I wanted to use my married name, when I had the interview, I asked the agent to put my married name in the GC.

She kindly did the change at that moment.

If you are planning to use your married name you may want to use it in the forms.

There is a part where you need to add your "other names", there you write your maiden name.

Yeah, sorry, I find this site very difficult to navigate and I mistakenly posted it in the wrong section before.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just want to be sure. I am a K1 fiance visa holder and I just got married. Now I am applying for adjustment of status, which name should I use on all the paperwork, my maiden name or my married name?

Thanks.

Your choice. Whatever you want the green card name to be in...use that.
