Thank you so much everyone for the Congratulations! We really appreciate it.

We weren't expecting the boys quite so early but I had a level two ultrasound scheduled on Wednesday, May 20 to check them out because Trace was having issues with his weight. At the ultrasound they discovered his cord was small, was laying across my cervix, and he was laying on it. I had already had issues the Saturday before with pre-term labor and was still having some contractions. Each time I had a contraction it was causing his heart rate to do funny things, either go up or down. They admitted me to the hospital that same day and would not allow me to go home (home was 2.5 hrs away). After getting monitored for some time on Wednesday they decided things were looking ok and took me off the monitors. Thursday morning they put me back on the monitors and Trace started having issues again. They came in and told me things were ok but they had scheduled me for a c-section the next day, Friday at noon. It was probably only an hour or so later they came in and told me they had to do it NOW because Trace was not tolerating the contractions anymore. Thankfully I had pretty much prepared myself for this very instance but was still a little scared and shocked to say the least. After making a few quick phone calls they took me back for the c-section. The boys were born on Thursday, May 21st. The doctor did such a fantastic job getting them out quickly they were both born at 2:30 pm. They are very healthy and doing extremely well to have been born 8 weeks early. The doctors anticipate they will be in the NICU for about 4-6 weeks. I'm currently staying in Charlotte because as I said above we live about 2.5 hrs from here. I'm hoping their NICU stay will be short so we can get them home as soon as possible. Their full names are Trace Joaquin and Tegan Camden. They are little fighters, just like their daddy, so we have high hopes for them. Thanks to everyone again!

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
