HELLOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

WE ARE VERY VERY VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!:dance:

Yesterday was our interview day, our app was for 9:30am and we got there 20 min before, the place was FULL of people with info passes and things like that, and there where a few couples with app but everybody was there with their "immigration lawyer"....... We did all this with the wonderful help of this Page only.... so anyways... we had to wait until 10am for our interview.

We got called by our last name by the IO that was this very very sweet old lady.... Thank God! Cause as soon as we entered the office and we swore to tell the truth, the IO said: "Everything looks Perfect, there is just one little thing that if you guys get it done today I'll give you your Congratulation Letter" That was it.... No questions about how we met, his family, mine... nothing, she opened the file and just asked the questions that were on form I485 just to make sure there were no mistakes... and the No questions.... that was it, she said "let me have a couple of updated pictures, I don't need too much cause your file is Big enough already" Lol.....

So she told us that because my vaccinations were done Dec 2007 (for the K1 visa) there was a new vaccine required (the VPH one) and I had to go get it and transfer to the form.... she also said: "If you get this done today I will give you the letter, if not you will have to mail the requirements and your file will be put on a waiting list until an IO gets your case again and issue a new letter for you, this can take up to 2 months... so try to get everything before we close at 4pm"

So we ran to the Health Dep, that is the only one that carries that vaccine in Vegas ($140.00) and then we went to the Civil Surgeon across the street from the local office of the uscis and we paid $20.00 for the doctor to update the vaccination records....

At 1pm we were back with the information and our IO said "Congratulations you are Approved  , I'm not going to take your advance parole and the EAD so you can have them while you wait for your Green Card on the mail, but as soon as you get it destroy them"

So that was our experience yesterday, just wanted to share it with you guys... We Also Want to Say: THANK YOU! cause you guys helped us So Much!!

Now just waiting 2 to 4 weeks for my Green Card!!!!!!!
