Hi..We are very new to this and this website :- We have 3 questions listed here.

1) We are planning on sending the first step on K1 , we are planning to mailing I-129 and G325A forms. But i know there is a fee that we need to pay.

1.1 Would you please tell me where should my boyfriend pay the fee for I129 form or there is a link that he can pay online?

1.2 After we pay the fee, will we get something that needed to be enclose and mail together with the forms?

2) We have been searching for a sample of intend letter, if you have a sample or a link , would you mind pasting here for us

2.1 How many of an intend letter do we have to write ? from my boyfriend and from me ? or we can write just one, so i will ask my american bf to write a letter.

3) About the form G325A....I believe that i have the lastest version which will expire on 05/31/2009 from its issued on 07/14/2006..and i could not find any lastest G325A yet.

3.1 We are planning on sending forms as soon as possible...but we are not sure if it will arrive to USCIS in time before 05/31/2009 which a few days ahead from now. If it arrives a little late, will it be a problem ? Will they accept it ? because we have not seen a newest version yet.

Finally, we appreciate all your respond that might be helpful for us , thank you and i wish you good luck as well and get approved soon.

read the instructions that came with the forms, it will tell you how much to pay, who to pay, and where to send the entire package. for the rest of your questions, you should read the guides. there is a guides link at the top of this page. if you get the forms online they will always be the current ones, the expire date on that form is for another purpose, so it's ok.

1.1 Your FIANCE (boyfriends are not eligible for fiance visas) can send the fee to the address listed in the instructions for the form. it is $455. Sned a personal check. Send it by US mail, certified, return receipt or by FedEx or UPS with delivery confirmation. Do not consider any other form of payment or delivery.

1.2 No. You will get a letter saying they received your package but you will already know that because you will have a return receipt and a cancelled check

2. Look under sample forms at the top of this page for "Fiance(e) letter of intent" You can use this sample EXACTLY as written, fill in the names and addresses. You need one from each person

3.G-325, previous editions accepted. Do not worry.

Thank you so much for everyone's advice. We really appreciate it...you mean my bf will have to write a check to "U.S. Department of Homeland Security for I-129 fee payable" for $455 and then place this check in the same envelop and send along with the documents ?

Yes thanks , i checked out G325 you pasted here , it is the same version we're using which will expire 05/31/2009 in a few days.

Is it possible that if we send in June , we will be able to recieve a visa within this year, or it is too fast ?

Anyway, thank you for your help!! Good Luck

Your FIANCE (call him "boyfriend" in the interview and your visa may be denied) Make the check payable to

Department of Homeland Security

The amount of the check is $455. Yes, enclose it in the same envelope. I cannot say if you would ge your visa this year if filed in June, it is possible yes and possible no. Most likely early 2010.

I look at many people's timeline on K-1...I see many people's case take almost a year or even more than a year to recieve a fiance visa. That takes so long. I hardly see anybody's case that takes shorter than 6 months.

I heard that K-3 may take a year or almost. And people recommend me to apply for K-1 because it is quicker...it sounds to me like they are not that different in their timelines.

I wish that i could go back to finish my school that will start in January, but for some reason we need to apply for fiance visa and we have not submited the forms yet...I just hope i will get it within this year.

January will be cutting it close but the sooner you get those papers mailed off the better your chances of making it by January.

Good luck!
