Can take up to 60 days, but usually faster.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

It varies... I sent back my stepdaughters' RFE back on Friday. They received it on Monday. Today (Thursday), I got a CRIS email saying "case processing has resumed".

I would check with them to see that they received it at least, even if they aren't processing it yet. Did you send it with signature confirmation or verifiable tracking? It can take 60 days, but the majority of people say that their case has resumed within a week or two. You don't want to go past the RFE deadline in case they didn't receive it.

Is it safe to assume you responded to the RFE by sending it back in accordance with the instructions (on the RFE notice)? (e.g., with proper "Attention To", Address, and included original RFE notice.)

I sent it back with the orginal notice to the listed address, but there was no attention to...

We received a note from CRIS that they resumed processing of our case on the 8th business day after the UPSP recorded date when they received our mailed back response to the RFE.

The RFE is dated April 13th and I sent it all back on April 21st (I think). I tried calling the number today but they say that the case is still suspended, I guess I will give it till Monday and send the package again, but I will have to use a copy of the RFE?
