March 2009 Filers

I have looked for a thread for March 2009 ROC filers but cannot find one.

I filed at VSC and was last touched April 16th.

How are you other March filers faring?

Filed 3/3, one touch on 4/3 (but it did not update it until late April). Biometrics done 4/2 and got the NOA1 4/9.

Sent to CSC and waiting (im)patiently.

04/08/09 -Biometrics done

04/16/08 Still no receipt-made infopass appt for 04/29/09 ATL

04/29/09 went to local office received one year extension (day 43)

CSC is pretty good in processing. I am seeing 2009 751 filers getting approved in 60 days on average. You guys might get approvals news by end of this month .

Our receipt date was March 30th, got the NOA on the 4th of April. We still have not received the biometrics appointment letter. I called USCIS on April 30th. I am so afraid we would miss the appointment. They let me talk to an IO and she put in a service request. I hope we get it soon, so we can quit worring.

Vermont Service Center Transfers I-751 Petitions to Make Room for 2009 H1B Filings

From AILA InfoNet Doc. No. 09031164 (posted Mar. 11, 2009) At the Vermont Service Center liaison meeting on March 2, 2009, VSC advised that they will continue to send weekly shipments of I-751 petitions to the California Service Center through the end of March. VSC noted that to date, they have sent approximately 50,000 I-751s to CSC. VSC is also continuing to ship I-539s to CSC, which have so far included approximately 14,000 I-539s.

In addition, VSC noted it recently shipped approximately 3000 H-1B extension petitions to CSC in March 2009. While
