I just cant believe this Sh//&%%!!!!! our interview was dated for next monday, and today a recieved this:

Ms. ----------

Please be advised that due to unforeseen circumstances your appointment had to be rescheduled from May 11 to June 12, 2009, at 8:30 a.m.

We have to wait 7 months until the NOA2 and now this, i'm so so so so frustrated and furious :angry::angry::angry: any one else in the situation?

Karen! I'm so sorry!!! :( This is the first time I heard of something like this at the Consulate in Guatemala or anywhere else!

08.01.2011 - I-751 SENT

08.05.2011 - Check cashed

08.08.2011- NOA Received

08.19.2011 - Biometrics Letter Received

09.12.2011 - Biometrics Appointment

01.27.2012 - Card production ordered

02.01.2012 - 10 year GC Received

07.25.2021 - N400 filed online

08.09.2021- Biometrics re-use notice

04.18.2022- Interview done at Minneapolis USCIS Local Office   ✔️ Received N-652 "Congratulations your application has been recommended for approval" during the interview.

05.19.2022- Oath Ceremony in MN

wow! i dont know why on earth they did that... i never heard of that either. sorry! did u have ur wedding date set?

sorry to hear about this. we can understand the frustration though, from case complete at nvc until we had our visa was almost four months. this period was the most stressful part of the journey....

So sorry! One good thing is you can have an extra month to save more money. Its very strange tho...wonder if other interviews at that Embassy are being postponed...

thanks, am an active member for that thread , we are a fews guatemalan in this process, so i dont hear nothing yet about delayed interviews, seems i'm the only one :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

sorry to hear about this. we can understand the frustration though, from case complete at nvc until we had our visa was almost four months. this period was the most stressful part of the journey....

We had to change our date from 5/11 to june or july because they have stolen my husbands birth certificate in guatemala in the city hall. How corrupt!!! He would have to wait for a court date!! This is terrible.. It sucks..
