Makes sense to me that Republican Georgians feel that way. A lot of those white folk won't admit it in public, but their views on slavery aren't all that different from 1861. We elected a black President --- 'spose it would make them hoppin' mad.

In Georgia and a lot of the South (east and south Texas included), it often still is all about race.
