Gas Bills?

After getting the chrimbo gas bill,,,and being a little horrified I have managed this month to get it a little lower, we have three zones in the house where I can control sections....so the section no one goes in,,,I completly turned off,,,,I have lowered the rest of the house too,,,and saved $100.00 ,,,out of curiousity how much a month do the rest of yas pay?

Ours for December was $700.00

Our heating is electric, and the most we've paid so far is $120'ish. Of course, we live in a widdle apartment

our util. bill for last month was about 370 and I thought that was cheap considering prices nowdays.. but not cheap!

Electric heat and hot water. 2400 sq ft.

We don't use much gas, so about $10/month.

Our apartment comes heated (included in rent) and we pay approx. $30 monthly for electric. Thermostat is broken, so most of the time we have a window fan on to cool things down a bit, even when it's 32 degrees (like now).

The most we've paid was about 90 for gas and like 45 for electric.. and we live in a poorly insulated trailer!

We pay about $100/month for electricity, $50/month for propane and heat with oil, which probably costs about $500-600 per winter.

We were paying about $160 a month then we got a bill after christmas and it was $300, we are all electric. I managed to get it down to $230 this month but i think it is a cheek here how they can just put the bills up with out any notice. I am not sure about any one else but on our bill they dont tell you how much you are paying per kw?

We pay about $110 a month for electric and gas...or we would if the utilities company hadn't tacked on the delinquent charges my roommates from college ran up in our last apartment.

I didn't know you could get the gas and electric from the same suppliers, our electric bill is another thing! Wonder what Im doing wrong here, with the gas
