this is posted in off topic but yet it sounds like a K-1 question... but yet your profile indicates immigrant visa (CR/IR)...

it is important to provide the right information...

A letter of intent needs to indicate that both parties are intending to marry withing the 90 days... while dating the statement would be good practice it only indicates a original statement of intent not an original DATED statement of intent

I think this is the first time I have moved a thread TO K-1

There is no letter of how we met. That's answered in Question 18 of the I-129F form.

You would state the dates of when you met in that answer.

You do submit letters from both of Intent to Marry within 90 days though.

Is that the supposed answer to question #18 in I-129F?

Just let him make a new one. Let him sign it and put the date.

Good luck to both of you.

Attachments be signed just to verify it is YOU who made the attachment. You have your petition approval so obviously it was not a problem. You generally do not need to present this letter at the interview unless you are using at as part of your "evidence of ongoing relationship". If so, you can sign it yourself as you are presenting the evidence. I wouldn't worry about it. The embassy also has your I-129f file including this letter, they have already "accepted" it as part of the I-129f package.

This is very confusing to me. BenKaren specifically says the "letter of how we met" is not dated and signed by his fiance. It is obvious to me he is talking about the question 18 supplement (but as usual I could be wrong :-) ). It states in the instructions that if you need more space to answer a question (such as question 18), you need to sign and date the supplemental page. It doesn't say singed and dated by "both parties". Further, a few have responded and refer to the to the "letters of intent" to marry. I don't think he was asking about letters of intent, as there are TWO letters of intent, one from each party, that need to be signed separately by each individual.

So I would venture to say that he is okay with his question 18 supplement if he, the petitioner, is the only one who signed and dated it.
