NVC received approval 3/25/09, assigned the case #, went into additional processing on the 25th.

Anyone knows how long this will take and will the 4 months allowed by USCIS expire?

thank you

Here's your new home on VJ, unfortunately.

It has been taking 43-52 days..like clockwork.

Please see this thread also:

There is also VJ member that was gracious, smart and bored :P enough to keep a running database of files stuck at NVC for AP.

and he posted as I typed

You have been in for 20 days, so figure about 3-4 more weeks and then you should be "released". It is a random process as to who gets pulled for AP, but predictable as to how long it lasts.

Good Luck

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

 thanks, Lisa. Unfortunately the hosting service I chose to host the AP@NVC statistics has been down far more than it's up. So don't be surprised when you get repeated error messages when you try to load that page. I am going to switch it to a different service when I get a chance. Hopefully by this weekend I should have it parked somewhere reliable and stable.....

As suggested you really should check out the 'official' stuck AP@NVC thread... http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=165644

there are a lot of people who are (or were) in this situation, and you can keep tabs on it by staying in touch with the "support group". You can also follow the link in my signature to see where you stand .. it's sort of like Igor's List for the AP@NVC situation. Both mikef and tÖm©êm are on the list at this point....

Good luck!
