I am so surprised!

Received by snail mail today my approval. Letter shows approval date of 3-31-09.

I have had no "touches" since my case was transferred to CSC - online case status still showing the date it was sent to CSC.

Ant you shouldn't have to wait much longer!

Good luck to everyone still waiting and I hope that your approvals happen very soon.

7/2/2010 - Called mis-information line to put in a service request for STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED "FP NOTICE"

7/8/2010 - LUD, at 2:32am, received text msg and e-mail for req. for add'l evidence being mailed out on July 6th, believe it's for the FP

7/12/2010 - Received FP notice in mail, scheduled for 8/2/2010

7/15/2010 - Walk in FP

7/22/2010 - Online status changed to "Case sent to local office for interview schedule"

7/27/2010 - Received interview letter for 8/23/2010

Congratulations on your recent VSC to CSC I-751 approval! I'm happy to hear that you got approved already... :thumbs:

Onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Silver!

Aww...thanks for updating all of us about this (and for mentioning me in your post too). Yes, this gives me more hope as to what will happen to my case in terms of approvals, as we both filed at about the same time/same week, and got transferred on the same day too.

No mail and or touches from the USCIS today for me (lol..I just got the electric bill, the gas bill, and a package of sunflower seeds from another VJer). But I still keep on hoping that there will be some sort of update and/or approval soon....

On that note, I'm going to the post office first thing Monday morning at 8am, though rain, snow (yes, we still get snow now in April), sun, or whatever else nature brings at me. Hopefully, I'll be more lucky then!

Good luck to everyone else waiting, and good luck with the rest of your immigration journey too.
