So it´s only two people with sn updated status so far.

Me and Americanwooman.

Let´s remember we are probably no more than 20 people from 1100 here in VJ.

I think this will be our week.

Getting to our cases and hopefuly sending our RFEs.

I´ll keep checking and if something change I´ll let you know.

I truly hope this is good news...

Do you think I could be in one of those 6 month-long security checks? Do they do that in Vermont? Or it would be somewhere else?

Just being paranoid..

Rlt, chill out! This *is* good, it has to be! Let's keep thinking positive. Things are happening and we'll be fine soon.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

I think this is really good news. They probably have accessed your case along with the recalled petition. They are probably getting ready to send you a RFE. What I don't understand is why do they need us to sign a piece of paper that they can release our no criminal backround, and the fact that we have never applied for a K-1 before, to our fiance(e)s. If we are clean then just approve the damn thing and quit wasting time and money.

Yeah, I think this is good news.

If I remember correctly, VSC kept touching everyone´s petition for a few days before sending the RFEs.

I don´t knoe if they still need to clear something or if they still need to work more on their system, but I have a feeling they will keep touching mine and then send the RFE.

If they don´t I´ll probably start to wonder about this "further review". But I do feel better that I wasn´t the only one with the same message today.

:)

Come on, RFE!!!

I wanna be with my baby.

Well, I just got to work a little bit ago, and decided to check my email, to my suprise I got 3 emails from USCIS. It is the same email that you received. It looks like they are at least doing something. What kills me is the fact this should have been done when they actually received our cases back.

Hang in there, you will get yours very soon. All I think they are doing at this point is receiving our petitions back from a warehouse or something, and as they come in they are updating the system. Once they have us on the system again they can beginsending us RFE's. So don't worry to much you will get one very soon.

New update on my case!!! I was touched again today, even though the current status says the action was taken yesterday

"Current Status:

On June 22, 2006, this case was reopened on a USCIS motion, and the case is now in process. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates"

What do you think? My case is now in process... sounds like a good thing, right?

Anyone else got one of those??

Good luck to us. We deserve it!

I got the same exact message on June 20 and 21. I think my file is back at the NSC where it was originally received, NOA1 Mar 6, and approved, NOA2 Mar 31 and then sent to Paris. Really? And your service center is nebraska?

You would be the first recalled case not coming from Vermont.

Anything else happened to your case yet?

I am wondering exactly how they will handle our cases. I am thinking we may not get an RFE unless something come up on our criminal backround or a previous petition has been found. Maybe they will just do the security check, petition check, and see see how we met from the question we replied to on the original I-129-F and you are clean they will reapprove our petitions. It says they will inform you when the make a decision or finished processing.

This is really good news, andmay be the reason they sent our RFE's to those not approved yet and not the recalled cases.

That's good thinking, I don't see any reason we would get an rfe, our cases were already approved. And i think you are right, they probably already know which companies are marriage brokers and hopefully they will reapprove our petitions soon. But hey, we are dealing with the USCIS, which means anything is possible.

I thought of that too. But I think they actually need a paper with your signature.

I think our case need to be open so they can process, and part of the process is sending a RFE.

But we´ll see... if it takes a week without another update I think you might be right. Maybe they will just do the check themselves. I only wish we could find that out..

Just got off the phone with Vermont. Still no record of my application since May 1. They have yet to match my petition back with the file that was recalled from the National Records center. The woman on the phone said "I don't know what to say. It's just a waiting game now."

I'm about 90% certain that we're going to sh*tcan this application and move to the UK instead. My lease is up at the end of October; if I haven't heard anything by the time I visit the UK in July, I think we'll apply for the UK visa.
