I don't want to be the one who brings bad news but keep in mind that, according to your timeline, they only received your application 10 days ago, so it is not very likely that this is an approval.. if this touch is an approval then you will be the fastest approval in history.

Also, keep in mind that a touch means virtually nothing.. as soon as they 'touch' your application, for whatever reason, the file is scanned and that is what you see... this could even mean just moving the file from the filecabinets to the central heater because someone spilled some coffee on it.. it's a silly example, I know, but it is just to demonstrate how little meaning a touch has.

N400 Timeline:

JeroenAndMichelle is right. We all wish fast approvals for everyone, but don't get your hopes up too early in your game. If you do, your hopes will be shattered by the time most people get approved - at least 3-4 months down the road!

I wouldn't doubt anything with CSC right now...people have been getting approved in 30-40 days...

That doesn't really mean anything.. that also happened a year ago when I was waiting for my I129F approval while there was a HUGE backlog.. people still waiting, even those over 6 months, only to see some others getting approved in 30 days. We all thought 'oh now it will be faster' but in the end it still took 4 months for most of us.

I am not saying it can not happen but I have seen people getting approved without a single touch and I have seen people waiting for ages while they had a new touch almost every week. It just doesn't mean anything.

Also, when I look to my own application.. I only had one touch and that was a few days after my NOA1, never any touch afterward until I received my NOA2... I'm just saying, it could mean something but most of the times it just doesn't mean a thing. I see lot's of people getting their hopes up only to have to wait several months longer... I know just as well as anyone else who has been on this route that these months of waiting are very long and very hard. And if you get your hopes up too early, you only gonna suffer from it.. the best is not to expect anything within 3 to 4 months.. if you get something earlier, that's only great, but if it doesn't, then at least you haven't been worrying ;)
