TB skin test and civilian Surgeons

Good morning / afternoon everybody!!

So, I'm getting all my paperwork ready to be send for AOS...only thing missinf is the TB skin test....this is what is happening...I wnet yesterday to a civilian surgeons I found on the immigration website and the nurse took my Tb skin test...but it seems like they will give just regoular piece of paper with the result of the test...don't he have to sign a specific immigration document to make it valid for immigration porpouse...I don't think that a normal pcs of paper with negative on it will be enough right? how do I explain that cuz it seems to me that CS don't really know what they have to do... Last one I contact told me I had to re do my whole medical again in order for him to sign my TB skin test!

I see what u mean...so I called the clinic again and finally I was able to talk with the person that deal with immigration and she told me that tomorrow I'll have to leave all my paperwork there and she will ge tmy I693 ready in a couple of weeks!

Ridiculous that it takes so long for them to prepare that.. when I had to transcribe my vaccination history and tb results, they asked me 24 bucks and it was in and out in 30 minutes, with the I693 in a sealed envelope in my hand (I had the medical done in my home country, the needed vaccines were also done there but they used the old papers, and my tb skin test was done here by the government (for free btw), so I only needed to have it transcribed).

I think the TB is free, too. but the 7 minutes physical exam cost me 125 bucks...

Couple of weeks? Ridiculous. It only took 30 minutes to have my I-693 for $30. It shouldn't take them that long. Make sure they have your number so that once it is ready, you'd be notified immediately.

2 weeks seemed like a long time to me too but u know at this point I'm gonna do whatever to get this done cuz I need it... Just sucks that just for the fact we need this they are going to put us trought all this #######...they woulnd't even transcript my tb skin test unless I would do it at their clinic...and the first CS I contacted told me straight he wanted 20 dollars for the Tb skin test and 400 box to make me the whole medical again and when I told him I already had my medical he said: no medical, no transcription... So I was like, whatever, there are other CS around right? Its just upsetting that they act this way!

If I were you, I would just see for another civil surgeon.. there're plenty of them around

So I went back today and thanks God the test is negative so the lady made a copy of my vaccination records and told me to wait for a call either tomorrow or Friday for my ready I 693A! FWWWWWWW!!
