France and their water supply! LOL! Everyone drinks them.

Cambodia is my favourite country that I have visited! It has changed so much over the last 5 years though :(

that's disgusting; however, quite entertaining. i've experienced the opposite in my travels. i've been to france, germany, belgium, luxembourg, and switzerland outside of the US. my experience was more like---you eat bread and cheese for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for wks and you want to kill yourself cos you can't sh!t and haven't for 2 wks straight. let's just say i drank black coffee, swallowed laxatives, and did headstands. there's video.

You need to get outside of Minsk and travel in the Belarusian countryside. I stayed at my mom's cousin's farm in the village on one visit. No running water. They throw a bucket down into a well for water. Believe me, you won't need any laxatives if you ingest even a drop of that water. Even if you don't purposely drink the water, it's on everything. They wash dishes with it, wash vegetables with it, etc. Ever heard of Montezuma's Revenge? This is Stalin's Screamin' Red Terror. It doesn't effect the locals, but it's hell on Americanski. :(

P.S.: And the local Belarusian toilet paper reminds me of the rough brown paper towels that we use in the USA to dry our hands with in public restrooms. After about the second or third go round it feels like sandpaper. Ouch! Between that and the fact that the old farm only had an outhouse, I was hurtin' for certain. Ever look down into an outhouse pit and see the excrement moving because it is full of live maggots? It's quite an experience that is not easily forgotten.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

I guess I have the stomach of an ox. I've never gotten sick. I always bring laxatives when I go to Albania because their diet is about 50% bread with meat and boiled vegtables.

I do have one, and I would tell you, but mine is more pathetic and not as funny as yours. It was spewing from both ends and I was "lucky" enough to be able to clean out my panties properly afterward. In my case, don't eat the damn honey either, duh. Second positive, I did lose 15 lbs in 2 weeks from that lovely bit of food poisoning.

Your diarhea is much worse when you get Hep A (your body will kill the virus within a few days or weeks). I got it when I went to Cambodia the first time.

Man, I could not walk. I was dizzy. I vormit. Lasted for about 7 days. It's even worse when that 7 days is your vacation week.

I think it was the implied second class nature of the Cambodians who were picking through someone's poop that got him the suspension.

However, if you told this story as a Cambodian, then it would be self-deprecating humor and probably acceptable.

Its was still damn funny innuendo or not.

They may have been Vietnamese. Which side of the border was the hole located UW?

I made the mistake of stepping into the bathroom at the language school were I teach. There was a toilet with no seat and no TP. There was a hose however. BYOTP is always in effect here.
