Dear all,

On March 3, I got an email from USCIS saying that my case was transfered from VSC to CSC. This email also said that they sent me a notice of the transfer.

On March 6, I got another email saying that the case is now pending at CSC.

As of now, I have not received a paper mail notice from USCIS about the transfer and I am getting worried. If you have a similar timeline for your transfer, I was wondering whether you have or you have not gotten a paper mail notice from USCIS about your transfer and (if you have gotten the notice) how long it takes to get the paper notice.

Thank you for your help.

I did get a notice...4 days after the transfer.It's a NOA.

However, I heard some of the others have received nothing.

I received an email telling me about my case being transferred from VSC to CSC on Ferbuary 11, 2009. Then, I received a USCIS letter from the mail dated February 12, 2009.

Then, on March 11, 2009, I received another letter from the USCIS that my case is approved and I will be receiving my green card within 60 days. So, it took me 26 days wait from the time my case was moved to CSC to the time it was approved.

When did you submit your papers?

Other than an email I have received nothing indicating our case has been transferred to CSC. The email indicated this happened on Feb 25 and my online status was updated 2/25, 2/26 and 2/27 which is currently the last date. Online status does indicated the transfer to CSC. Fingers are crossed that the approval letter will come soon or an email. I just want to get this chapter over with so I can start the next one, citizenship.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I would still be curious to know if there are others who got transfered around March 3 and whether they received paper mail notices. I am probably a bit more nervous than the others since it is quite likely that I will receive an RFE.

To angelnoah: Congratulations on your approval. I submitted my package to VSC in the second half of August, 2008. As I said, I got the transfer email to CSC on March 3, 2009.

To KRS: If you do not mind me asking, when were you transfered to CSC?

Again, thanks for all your help.

Thank you very much for the information, LastSurvivor. I saw a few posts dated March 9, and as of then, there were some people who got tranfered on the same date as you and did not receive a paper transfer notice. It sounds like your case is so very close. You have waited thus far. Just a bit more patience...

As I said, I would probably not worry much about not receiving the paper notice if I was not expecting an RFE.
