Hello my VJ family B) Hoping and praying for continued progress on everyone's case! I will be pulling Lisa's "hit&run" most the weekend. I start my new part time job this weekend ... 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. ... baby sitting a small luxury home community with about 150 homes, all worth 2 million on up ...

Am calling the NVC tonight again to see it there's any progress on my AP. I know that for a lot of people there was this 50 day window ... but I have heard about some that have made it in 3 weeks ... so I'm really hoping

Did you file as single or married filing jointly?

Married, even though we re-married in Feb. "Long story" cause year before that we thought we were legally married and I filed married then so I did it again this year filed as married. Confusing, bet your head is spinning. Right??

If your married, file as married, but dont file jointly.

I don't understand why your papers have not been received by NVC. Especially after the congressional inquiry resulted in the email indicating that your case had been forwarded to NVC. This has happened to some folks on VJ, where it took 2-3 weeks for the case to get from the service center to NVC, but most of them were petitioners out of CSC not VSC. I'm baffled....

Let me ask you this, do you feel as if you have to file jointly??? If not, dont, just file away as you always do.
