When this alleged person who is creating havoc in your life can produce a verified true evidence that either you or your fiancee are not legally bound to marry each other. This is the only absolutely legal way that I can surmise right at the moment. If this person, who has been causing you a myriad of trouble, can do this and prove it, then you and your fiancee have a HUMONGOUS problem

Life is beautiful!

In reality, outsiders to your petition process will have zero impact, even with malicious intent and USG contacts.

Here's why:

The USCIS petition process is already complicated enough, from the Government's perspective. For some outsider to "interject" some evidence to derail your process would be extremely difficult.

Government influence? Having worked for the Government myself overseas for DOS, my positive influence had an impact of zero (0) during our petition/visa process. I did have friends in that Embassy, but those former colleagues were impartial, as they should be.

I believe you because something similar happened to me. The individual wrote a nasty email to the embassy with bad allegations, but I had all my documents in order. After the first interview, I left thinking I was approved and when I returned to pick up the visa the following day, I was questioned again and this time approved. Live your life and trust God. As long as your relationship is genuine no one can destroy you. Also, with official 'stuff' no one can simply blackmail you and get away with it... your records are confidential and the gov't or agency does not give people's info anyhow. Have all your documents in order for the interview. I understand your fear but you will be fine. Good luck!

Wow i realy taught i was alone dealing with a simmilar problem . but my family is behind my torments i have been married to my wife for the past 6 yrs and they, did approve because on meeting my wife i won a law suit which involved a lot of money. I didn't get it until tow years of marriage . but my family thinks i spend too much on my wife and not them so my mom sister and a brother would torment my wife almost giving her anervous break down. My wife and i have tow kids. And they refuse to acknowledge my kids too. And the make contact with my exes and put them to torment my wife. I also think they proberly trying to stop my wife from comming to the US as well. It sounds crazy, but it is true abd i do give them what ever the want. but i am often sad and unhappy because of the. I know this is going to sound paranoid. I assure you, it is not. My fiancé and I have finished the hard part--our visa package is together, including cheque and will be going into the mail later today. Which means I finally have time to think.

There is a person who was formerly a part of my life who has seemingly made it their life-mission to destroy my life. They like to call or email various people and groups and leave "anonymous tips" that I am crazy or worse in order to make things awful for me and get me into trouble with various people with whom I am involved. I don't dare give more detail because this person WILL use this post against me should they find it. They like to block opportunities for me and stop my life from moving forward. I assure you that I have done NOTHING to deserve this treatment from this individual. I know you likely don't believe me, but let's just say that, when this person was last involved in my life, I was a child.

I know who this person is, but I have not had an exact address or phone number for them in many years, so I can't even 100% prove that it is this person who does this to the satisfaction of someone else. I am positive of who this individual is and have been dealing with this LITERALLY my entire adult life. In order to combat the problem, I've alerted those close to me about this person's actions and common "anonymous" aliases so that they know what is going on when the emails and phonecalls start up as they do once or twice every year or two.

Is there anything I can do to stop this person from destroying my visa bid, other than hoping that somehow this person won't manage to start their hjinks until it is too late? I'm wondering what this person could do to stop our visa application? Also, is there anything I could do or say in order to alert the USCIS or whomever in order to prevent this person from being able to stop the application? Without having the USCIS think there was reason for concern about our visa bid?

As one who has experienced the same, I am sure it can happen, and I am not paranoid either. (it is NOT paranoia if someone REALLY is out to get you)

That said, the best way to protect yourself is be honest. The USCIS is not going to base their adjudication on rumors. If you have given the facts and everything is true, don't worry. Also be honest with your fiancee about this person to protect her.

Also do not have any contact with anyone that may "spill the beans" to this person. What would you need that aggravation for? I had to do this in my own life. After 11 years, my ex is still trying to find me to cause problems. Occasionally a family member will say she has called and asked. It is good, because it shows she has no other way to find me except ask a family member and they won't tell. hehehehehe.
