How long for EAD and AP?

I have a quick question. How long does it usually take for EAD and AP, (mainly EAD b/c that is the MOST important), to be granted? I sent my husband's AOS paperwork yesterday, so how long after they recieve his paperwork will they begin to process and send us word that his EAD was granted? is that after the biometrics/fingerprinting? If so, how long does that stuff usually take? ... depending on my office does it change the amount of time that it takes? Im sure these are easy/stupid questions, but im worried. My husband needs to work. And we dont want to be held back by papers anymore. We just want to live and be happy without having to worry about papers.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

MAINLY EAD USUALLY TAKES 3 MONTHS AFTER THE APPLICATION FILED, SO IN YOUR CASE

YOU CAN EXPECT TO RECEIVE IT IN MAIL AROUND FIRST WEEK OF JUNE 2009 & APPLY FOR SS#, IT

TAKES ABOUT 1 WEEK, SO YOU DO THE MATH. TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA, LOOK AT MY TIMELINE AS WELL AS

THE OTHERS.

NOA2 e-mail for I-130 Approval 03/03/09 (47 Days)

NOA2 Hard Copy of I-130 Approval received 03/07/09

Biometrics App. Mail Notice received 03/09/09 (App. Date 03/24/09)

Anywhere from 30 to 90 days and even more....you can start pulling up and reviewing timelines of people here and some can get it in as few as 30 days plus, while others take months...

Ok, i see on timelines that biometrics are before the EAD is approved. Ok.... darn... guess we will have to wait a little longer.

If you'll edit your timeline to include your new filings, it will give you an estimate based on VJ timelines. Yours doesn't show yet that you've gotten a visa, entered the US, married or filed AOS/EAD/AP. Up to date timelines help the statistics be more accurate.
