Update: case is out of internal review, but so far no interview in April... We told them that this sh.. cost us a month, their reply: Sorry for the inconvenience. Great, those guys are so funny... :huh:

You will most likely get an interview for May now, since the scheduling for April has been completed at NVC.

I still got hope because the consulate's homepage states they have still slots open for non-immigrant visas and Frankfurt isn't that busy

I don't want to burst your bubble...but you are applying for a CR-1 based on your profile and timeline, so you are in the immigrant visa category.

no bubble to burst here. All I wanted to say is that if they still have slots for the non-immigrant visas there might be a chance to get one for an immigrant visa. NVC doesn't stop scheduling just because the 2nd week is over, it all depends on how many slots are open for the next month.

10-10-2008: I-130 Sent

11-14-2008: NOA1

01-13-2009: Transfer to CSC

01-30-2009: APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

02-04-2009: NOA2 in mail

04-14-2009: medical

05-14-2009: Interview

05-15-2009: picked up visa

05-24-2009: PoE: Miami

06-04-2009: received 2 ! welcome letters

06-08-2009: received 3rd welcome letter

06-25-2009: Greencard in mail

07-06-2009: received SSN

07-13-2009: got my DL!

Hi all,

Here's one update from me. Today, I received an email from Embassy which says the following:

Dear Ms. Sonia:

Thank you for contacting us.

We scheduled you for a K3 visa interview on April 29, 2009 and we issued the appointment package (Interview letter, list of documents required for interview, form DS-230, medical instructions and photograph instructions. If you do not receive the interview letter by March 29, 2009 you or an authorized person can come to the Consular Section on any working day (Sunday-Thursday) between 8.30-9.00 a.m. with a copy of this e-mail and we will hand deliver the interview letter.

We hope the above information is helpful.

He he he...This K3 became absolute worthless...One reason is that we applied shortcut Methods at NVC which made our CR1 move faster than the embassy...Anyways....Atleast I don't have to deal with the flip issue(Although I really wanted an earlier date as I submitted the K3 packet way earlier than we were completed the NVC).

wow i been lost for a while! but here is my update! my k3 got interview dat april 22, but the most bizarre thing happened! my i-130 got appoitment date April 13!

OMGGGGG it's almost here!! its the 7 already .... yei yei yei yei OMG OMG!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance:
