Awww Kathryn! Sorry to hear that, but you made the right decision. Sounds like a dungeon, how do people live like that!? Disgusting. At least you know she's in a safe spot for the moment.

plz hold for a ###### fest...

i posted a few weeks ago about a nice little car accident we had. well, of course the car that we bought 4 days before moving to USA (about 6 weeks before the accident) is going to get totaled. fine whatever, just sucks cuz I don't want to go vehicle shopping again. anyways, the adjuster is being a cockbag. won't return our phone calls, won't tell us how much they're going to offer (which im sure is going to be a joke anyways). the truck is sitting at the autobody shop because the adjuster called them and told the dude there to tell us that he isn't paying storage fees and that we have to, which isn't true. so the battle begins. already contacted the california department of insurance. oh and as im posting the phone rings, im sure this will be real awesome. edit its just his supervisor, who won't do a damn thing

well me complaining seems to work. get 5600 and keeping the former rcmp suv. woooo its either that or get an extra 900 bucks, and that is just foolish since i can take it to the junk yard and probably get more. sweet. it is semi drivable, but gonna see how safe it is and what minimal repairs would need to be done to drive it. i <3 that blazer lol

I cannot STAND it when psychological issues are discussed in Off Topic. There are so many times that people post erroneous and damaging information. I feel this urge to step in, but then it makes it feel too much like work for me and I try to keep VJ separate. It just makes me want to scream though!!!

Wait a minute, so they aren't all Doctors who specialize in mental health in the OT forum?

I notice OT just aggrivates some people, and others just love to just piss off others and argue

Thanks for the kind words everyone. My chiropractor - who has one of my posters up in his office - is considering adopting Lucy. He says he just needs time to try and talk his wife into adopting another cat - they have two now - but he has been staring at her picture all week and she is growing on him! So, keep your fingers crossed - there is still hope.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I hope that works out, and at least you KNOW kitty is going to a good home.
