Hello VJers!

I just wanted to inform you that our case has been complete as of March, 5th, 2009. I just called the NVC and was thus informed. After all those stress and worries about whether or not our case would be complete because my Angle lacking a passport and some other docs because of the situation in Somali. But Alhamdulillah (Thanks to Allah) everything went fine and now we are waiting for an interview date sometime in April. Insha Allah (Allah-willing) next week we will find out our interview date. Speaking of which, I wanted to ask you, especially brother Zee Bee, do you know anything or a way we can find out if the consulate in Nairobi is busy or their capacity for the month of April as far as scheduling interview dates go? Is that info available to obtain by any means?

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Take care and peace to all. :)

Congratulations :)

Not sure about the workload at the Nairobi embassy, but it seems like they schedule interviews pretty quickly compared to some other embassies :) Since the scheduling is done by NVC I am thinking that they do it first come, first served for available slots.

You can check out the keeping track thread to see what the average wait time has been: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=96536

And like shell said, the Nairobi thread is a great place to get info
