Today, my wife and I received an approval letter for her greencard in the mail. Here is a brief timeline/synopsis of our case for those who are interested. Hopefully this can help someone out in the future.

We were married June 30th, 2008 in a civil ceremony in Arlington, VA. We sent in the AOS packet in September, received an RFE in early October, sent back the required documentation in mid October, got an interview date for January 27th in late November. Went to the interview on January 27th totally nervous, the woman asked us very few questions and I even flubbed up my wife's birthday I was so nervous, she dismissed us and said we were "approvable" and told us to find a co-sponsor. My father co-sponsored us and we send the information back to them via registered mail, was received by USCIS February 20th. Got the letter in the mail today, March 5th.

My wife is an F-1 overstay who was really screwed over by some of her relatives when she came here, so this is a really, really great moment for both of us now that she has some control over her life. We're very happy.

All things considered, with the dumb mistakes we made on the forms, our paperwork was processed rather quickly...by USCIS standards at least.
