it only took a couple days for us to get to, and then through NVC. Ours went to NVC in about 5 days, through it in 2, to the consulate in 2, they sent out the package in 3 which they lost though lol. Going though VAN at least you will get a nice quick interview!! Crossing my fingers it get to NVC soon, the holidays may have messed with it.

This is probably a really stupid question, but how were you able to track your process through the NVC? Do they still keep updating things on the website? We haven't received our NOA2 notice (by mail) yet, so I'm a little confused as to how we'll be able to track the next step.

No, the only way we found out was calling through but the ppl from NVC are infinately nicer and more informative than USCIS

Congrats Vega and menina! Didn't I say menina that it would show up when you got approved? :D YAY FOR ME! lol. So happy I was right and that you are moving forward now.

Yes, Danu. Your encouragement that it would show up when approved helped immensely! Thank you so much. It makes it extra special because I am here visiting my fiancee. I was looking at Facebook when he left the room, and I decided to check one more time on the USCIS website. I kept checking our case number again and again to be sure I hadn´t made any mistkae. When he came back in I had a shocked look on my face, and he thought that someone had died! lol....I just said that I wanted to show him something, and when I showed him, he asked if it was our case I was looking at. We are still in shock and jumping up and down telling his mom and everything. As soon as we settled down, we said a prayer of gratitude. We have to remember to thank Him for the good moments and not only remember Him when we need help. Our prayers are answered!!!!!! Yeah!
