wierd things happening today methinks, i got a lud saying my ead card production was ordered today, but i had the same LUD on 7th May. maybe i'm getting 2. lol

Mine said the same thing.. I got an email for CRIS on May 6 that production ordered for my EAD but yesterday I got another email May 11 production ordered for EAD.. tsk tsk

Ours too. It said card production last May 8th then today I received an email that today, may 12th, our new card was ordered. It's the same thing, right? hehe

did any one who filed in march not have a state id or passport and went to biometrics app? what id did you use? pls helpppp

I don't have a state ID so I just showed them our passport when we did the biometrics. You should have a passport or else you'd not be able to get in the US unless you lost it.

Hey Andy, if you want to update the spreadsheet my interview letter came in yesterday and is scheduled for July 1st. Also, we received the EAD card yesterday (May 11). Thanks! I am not sure if the spreadsheet can be edited by the public but when I go to edit it never works. Good luck everyone.

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

If you will have an iterview, you would be required to bring I-693. If your case is transferred, just wait for your GC.

From the AOS FAQ:

"If the beneficiary's vaccinations were COMPLETED as part of the visa process, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO INCLUDE FORM I-693 IN THE AOS SUBMISSION. All your medical information is enclosed in the brown envelope which was handed in at the POE. The envelope is then forwarded on to USCIS where it will be consolidated with the I-485 submission, once received. If you received a copy of the Vaccination Documentation Worksheet (Form DS-3025) from your Panel Physician, you may include a copy of that form in your AOS submission in place of Form I-693."

There seems to be some confusion, because according to the instructions of the new I485 the I693 has to be completed even if the vaccinations were done as part of the visa process, however just the Vaccination part needs to be filled in and submitted. The FAQ is about 2 years old.

Yes, some of the AOS info is out of date.

Here is the latest DOS/USCIS verbage:

C. You received a medical examination prior to

admission, then-

a. You are not required to have another medical

examination as long as your Form I-485,

Application to Register Permanent Residence or

Adjust Status, is filed within one year of your

overseas medical examination.

b. You will, however, be required to complete

Part 1, Information about you, and submit the

vaccination section of Part 2with your

adjustment of status application. A designated

civil surgeon must complete the vaccination

section and Part 5, the Civil Surgeon's

Certification.

How did you enter the country (and I guess when)? The only thing that makes sense with what you have told us is if you had entered the country illegally. I don't know how a VAWA case would have gained you entry into the US, it seems like that'd only apply after you had gained entry and married someone, and then divorced and self petitioned. Either way, a complete lack of ID makes your situation a lot different from anything anyone else here is likely to be able to help with, you may be able to show birth certificates and other original documentation but you need to get some form of legal ID or it'll be non-stop trouble.

I haven't seen any touches or anything on my wife's AOS in the last two weeks... and I'm in the habit of checking the online status daily now (well, twice daily even a lot of the time). I'm expecting the EAD or something to show up in the mail any day but each day when I check the mail, a little dissappointment is all I get. I know it should be soon but my wife is getting sick of hanging about the house and wants to get to work!

Hi All,

Just a quick question for you all.

I got my AP approval letter for visiting Canada. My question is Do i still need to have Visa for canada? Or just my passport, SSN & AP would be enough at the border entry. I am planning to fly from Austin to Bellingham ( Seattle ) so i can save on international flight & from Bellingham My folks will pick me up. Its a 30 min drive to my house there. Is there anything else required so i dont have any problem crossing the canadian border. My AP is valid for 1 year.

It would be nice if some one has any information on this.

Regards,

Amrit & Rob

I had a dream too... and in it, for some reason only white lego's were ok to use, it was evil to use other colors of lego's... but I knew better and was set on proving the other people wrong. Also, in the dream the building was two stories and using non-white lego's did cause the roof to tilt. Uh yeah... most of my dreams are pretty random.

I checked my PO Box today, and was pleasantly surprised to find two NOA's for Notice to Appear for Interview, sitting in my mail box.

The interviews for my wife and daughter are at the same time in the middle of June.

This has been a lot faster than I had expected, or had even hoped for !! :)

No touches, still not able to open the online portfolio for the AOS files, and not a word on the applications for the EAD's.

That would be a moot point I guess, if they will issue the GC's soon after the interviews?

We have been married over two years, so maybe that sped up the process some what ?
