People, people, learn to use the spoiler tags! As has already been mentioned, some people HAVEN'T seen the latest episode and thusly do NOT want to read what happened in the last episode.

So, people, use your heads and spoiler BBcode, please, when talking about latest episodes!

yeah what she said

and I read it before it was made invisible :crying::P ...lol

I plan on watching it tonight...

I'm sorry, Marilyn! :(

It's still a good episode though.

it's ok.. I will survive...lol

for now, Im of the opinion that niether one is on the good or bad side..they just both want what they consider to be theirs.

Ben is just more 'agressive' and cunning.

I dont think Charles sent the boat to destroy the island..he just wanted to kill everyone on it and "take the island back"

couldnt we just put "potential spoiler alert" in the thread topic instead of deleting posts?

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Every character has a past and bad side in Lost. But I do think Ben is the bad one out here.

Widmore somehow knew that flight 815 was going to crash into the island and thats the reason why abbadon (widmore's assistant) made sure Locke was in that plane....that australia walkabout. They know Locke is the special one and he was sent to replace Ben.......now Ben knows it too and I think that's why he got so jealous when Locke could hear Jacob's voice and tried to kill him that time and now he killed him for real this last episode.

I love lost and I can go on and on about it, but I will shut my mouth and return back to my lost forums :P

ok so I finally watched the episode last night.. wow...

the only thing I am wondering is why didn't Ben just let John kill himself?? or did he want to get information from him first??

Just the info I guess.

Ben didn't know how to get back to the Island anymore, as its revolving in time and Ben also knows that since Locke is the new leader now he must have the knowledge of how to get back. And Christian Shepard (Jack's dad) did tell him who he has to meet to get back to the island

Plus if Locke would have killed himself it would have been a sacrifice and by Ben killing him, Ben didn't let it be a sacrifice and made it an accident. I think in one of the episodes Richard did tell Locke that he will have to sacrifice for the island.

I think Ben did intend to leave Locke alive at first, but once he saw Locke new about Mrs. Hawkings he decided (for reasons we've yet to find out) that Locke couldn't be left alive.

The odd thing for me is that Widmore did know where Mrs. Hawkings were since he gave Desmond the address, so it can't be for that reason that Ben had to kill Locke (preventing him from getting to her). Am still waiting for tha explanation but it was pretty clear he only decided to kill Locke after he mentioned Mrs. Hawkings.

Ben is bad because

he killed John Locke

Apparently Charles Whitmore

is trying to protect the island from Ben

but who knows

he

''killed'' John Locke

for a good reason. he'll

stay alive in the island so it's not like he really killed him.

i think Ben is not bad, he's just manipulative and he knows more about the island than most people and they get them to do what's best for everybody.

not everybody can watch every episode in time, but they still want to be part of the discussion. PUtting a spoiler will give people the option to read it or not, and it's not a big to take 1 second to put the spoiler.

Not sure Nessa, the way he acted in that scene makes me think it was a spur of the moment decision 'cus of something that was said.

That is what I think too. There were two things Locke said to him, and Ben seem to be very surprised. In the next eisode (hopefully) we may get some answers, but it doesn't matter what Ben says I just have a hard time believing him, that liar!

The reason I think Ben killed John is because they need to re-create the

situation like when they first crashed.. so they would need a dead body for Jack

to bring with him... and I think he knows that John will be back alive on the

island :)

sometimes good people kill bad people and it's acceptable.
