wat you think guys? can this be used?

It can but if you need it, you have bigger troubles. I always advise against using money transfers as evidence of a bona fide relationship unless there are similar quantities going in both directions. They really don't help and can hurt by raising questions.

The best evidence is time together, followed by evidence of regular communication. People in bona fide relationships tend to live like they are in a bona fide relationship. When they do, they seldom have to search for evidence. What else do you have?

Photos and phone records are a good start.

Boarding passes/passport stamps

Hotel receipts

Snail mail letters - you can "black out" personal bits

Yahoo/MSN chat logs

Evidence of any gifts bought for each other

Affidavit from family/friends - probably only if other evidence is scarce.

Engagement ring receipt (if any)

Basically bring everything you can that proves that you're in an ongoing bonafide relationship. Better to have more evidence than you need than not enough.

Yes, it can be used.

When I went to the interview I took phone bills, emails, letters, receipts of gifts, travel documents for 5 visits from the time of filing the petition (not counting the obvious visit to attend the interview) AND receipts from MoneyGram. They never looked at those. They glanced at the travel documents, glanced very quickly, and took 4 photos as "evidence" each from a different visit.

Yes, they are "evidence of ongoing relationship" but you need to have more. There should be an array of "evidence" as is produced in any legitimate relationship and this can be one of the types.

Exactly where are you in the process? Do you have an interview date? You do not fill in your timeline. I mean if your interview is tomorrow, good luck with what you have. If you are waiting for the NOA2 you have lots of time. LOTS.

You entered a process in which "evidence of ongoing relationship" will need to be presented. Do not try to communicate in ways that fail to produce the evidence you need. You could have just the hottest and heaviest yahoo messenger relationship in the world and no one will ever know it. And for Pakistan you better double up or triple up on the evidence. Try adding some email to the mix or some other form of verifiable communication

One or two more visits with boarding passes, reciepts, pictures etc. would work nicely to augment what has been mentioned above. You have several months to assemble your evidence and several months to learn from others, about what kind of things are good evidence. Oh, and several months to learn the visa process and prepare for all the upcoming steps therein.

r u going for K-1?

if so ISL gives first priority to PICTURES and meeting...

and during the interview beneficiary shuld b able to answer CO Questions about u, ur family ur plans....

they didn't ask us for any phone bills, emails , cards , gifts (though he had all) but he just looked @ our reception pics and talked about that but for safe side you shuld have phone bills if u dun talk on phone then start talkin on phone so it is documented... that is one party calls direct so the #s appear on bill... money shouldn't matter at this stage u have to document ur relationship... exchange postal cards though most of us use ecards now but ur relationship is not like others u have ot prove to some1 that it is a legitmate relationship

good lucks

I agree with pushbrk and brnidokiegurl and would NOT use money transfers as a sign of on-going relationship.

While it may be ok in some places to show financial support of your fiance, in some of the higher fraud posts it most certainly will add extra scrutiny to an already difficult process.

do your best to collect proof and familiarize yourself with the process. You will also want to visit your portals link as well as the Regional forums here on VJ to learn all you can and prepare yourself as much as possible before the interview.

good luck.
