Ya know, Imma go off on a tangent here for a sec, and this is not directed at anyone in particular, just a general rant.

Yes, Brit looks like shiznit in the pic, but she's preggers for fluck's sake. I think the media has done SUCH a good job portraying what they think is 'beauty' so much that we all have accepted it too.

Now as much as I can't stand JLo, the comments about her how enormous her azz has pissed me off too...she's a size 6 for cryin out loud.

This is my own rant and obviously something that hits close to home a bit....after my car accident and surgery I placed soooooo much emphasis on what I looked like that a weight gain had me coming undone. I would try to counter the steriods effects by eating less than 500 calories a day....I remember shaking with hunger in my wheelchair & not having enough energy to even lift myself up. My 'power' was gone...as a fat person, I didn't have the pull I once had....couldn't talk my way out of tickets or be 'special' anymore and that made me feel worthless. I wasn't happy until every last pound was off. But summat changed in me after that..I saw some ppl for the shallow azzholes that they are & I no longer validated myself by what others thought.

Eh, enuff about me. But I see this brainwashing of ppl as dangerous to our younger girls. Brit should be fat...there is no perfect woman all the time. I'm certainly not advocating not giving a ####### about being fit and healthy, tho. But we can't allow our sisters and daughters grow up expecting perfection. That's horribly dangerous imo cos when summat happens...like a pregnancy or illness or whatever & the body image is everything, what is left????

Lisz, I hope you don't take this as if I'm ranting to you....I'm not, just a general soap box moment, from which I'll step off now. :wink:

I agree with you, Lisa... it was most directed to the guys that always think that a woman is just hot if she looks like this and that...

I am not the hottest woman in the world.. LOL.. just look at my pic and you will see I am not...and so what ? my Honey thinks I am hot.. and this is what matters for me...

I think it is disgusting to see that people has come to this kind of thinking that you can only call somebody hot if they are thin, long legs, blonde hair, green eyes, round ###, exc...

oh well.. :P

i don't care what size she is ... because, as lisa pointed out, she's preggers ... but that doesn't mean she has to dress like a piece of trailer trash !!

that's exactly what she looked like last night, i was so disappointed. i think she's cute ... but the #######-top and mini-skirt was a bit much! she's not a size 2 at the moment and she should stop pretending that she is.

women of any size can look scrumptuous and gorgeous ... it's about how they carry themselves and how they dress.
