Sorry I was occupied with purchasing of a ticket.

Thank you Maire, Dave (I apologize if I missed somebody). It's good to pass this hurdle and worry only about the ticket.

BTW, she will be here August 9th at 4:25pm.

MMMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

IIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now you just have to keep from bouncing off the walls for a few weeks.

<--- runs and gets the chain and anchor!

Aww...let him bounce...he earned it..lol!

This is just to tether him down so he doesn't go into orbit is all... I'll give him lots of slack!

Liz he has definitely earned the right to bounce. I would just think that these last three weeks will be the hardest, because he knows when it is exactly. For me its still difficult, but we still have to jump through hoops. Whereas Roman has only to sit and wait. In my opinion a much harder thing to do. I pace a lot so I will wear a groove into my floors when I get to the same spot in the process.

Lee - your so right...i know how I was the last time Pat came to visit, I didn't sleep much for weeks before he came and the last few days were torture. I can only imagine how it'll be this time with me knowing he's here to stay this time!

Richard - Oh ok...that's a good idea...we don't want our Roman floating away... hehe!

Hugs, Liz

I'm up at now 2:33 AM...sending prayers...strength and silent support across the miles to Marina. I know that she has just entered the Embassy...a little nervous and apprehensive not quite sure what to expect. She is regal and confident of her love and devotion to our wonderful Roman. The mere thought of Roman, sends butterflies flying in her stomach...but she smiles inwardly to herself because she has never felt a love so real with the only man on Earth for her. She takes a deep breath...steps forward and provides the Embassy employees all the requested documents...and takes her place in line.

Marina looks around at all the other faces and wonders their stories...she wonders if their love feels just as wonderful...and she silently wishes them all well. She is ready...this is a mere technicality...a small dip in the road on the rest of her journey toward her destiny.

Your VJ FEB 09 VSC family is rooting for you Marina. Sweet dreams Roman...for tomorrow you will dance and rejoice the wonderful news.

Amazing you can be soooooooooo poetic at 2:30 in the morning!! :)

I write a little...nothing published.

morning richard,

It is the hardest thing to contact the US embassy here in dublin. I cant ring them, For some reason the contact us page on their website is coming up empty, so I cant get an email address. I feel like :ranting: , sorry I know its early :)

You should contact the Dept of State...instead of NVC...I have the number somewhere.

Good Morning MY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got some good news:

INTERVIEW PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as for details, there isn't much to tell. They asked her 3 questions: How did we meet??? When and how did I immigrate to US???? and When are we planning the wedding?????

They checked her documents and that was it. It took less than 5 minutes.

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WWOOOOO-HOOOOOO!!! Told you it would be easy!!!!!!! YEAHHHH!!!!

ROMAN MY BROTHER CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! The first of the family to move on.. Seriously i prayed for you and i am so happy that you got the good News...

Rich Roman is NOT the first of the family to move on...I'm a part of this family too darn it!!!!!! I'm just waiting for my man to join me on August 20th!!! Am I invisible here!!!

Hey everyone i have questions for everyone. My Gf and i are filling out the forms.. The ds 230 and the other one i forgot the form number and first of all it asks her permanent residence will be in the US. The whole time i been using my mothers address and i sent everything down as my mothers address but now we will live in my home. i was divorced in 2009 january and my ex was staying here prior to the divorce. the visa specialist told me to stay with the current address cause it will cause delays so i want to put as her permanent address my address here but i sent the affadavit of support last year and everything as my mos address. what if we were to change it on the form now? will it cause a problem? i called the NVC and told them that i was moving back on august 1st that my ex wife was still living here until the 1st or the 15th and the interview was july 28th. that is why on all the forms i submitted i used my mom's address. Do you think if she puts my address here and not my moms address it will be a problem?

I would say don't knock a good thing for now. If she is going to have a different address on the I134 than the other forms...leave all addresses the same...especially since the I134 should be filled out at the same time as the DS-230, DS-156, DS-156k, etc...as they are Embassy forms. You can always file a change of address later...or update ALL forms to show your new address.

Thanks Lee and Richard for the perspective and encouraging words. I'll probably be feeling anxious again in a few hours, but I appreciate it. :)

Not sure if this will help or hurt, but I just called the Department of State. They just said that it is standard processing and some people are randomly selected for it or there was a name hit in one of their databases etc. The lady was nice and she said it should probably be cleared up at the end of July, but that is just an estimate and not a guarantee. At least its something.

Thanks, Lee!

Congrats Julie Ivy. I know you guys are besides yourself with joy!

I wish I could be done with waiting for POE too! #######...now I'm all sad and depressed. Our reunion will be 6 days shy of a year since we last saw each other. He will be arriving 8/20 and the last time we saw each other was last year 8/26. :crying::crying::crying:
