Port of Entry : Atlanta
POE Date : 2009-08-20
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : No
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : For some reason Atlanta was the hub and center of activity for Immigrants on August 20th. I waited for hours and hours for him to come up from the airport terminals. The Airport/Customs agents felt sorry for me because I was crying from neck surgery pain. They found me a wheelchair, and called down to the Customs area to find out his status. Shortly after the call, he came up the long escalator for baggage claim. I was so unbelievably happy and relieved.

Consulate Review: Jamaica
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 18, 2009
Embassy Review : I did not attend the K1 interview with my fiance' because of recent neck surgery. He stated that although he waited for a while the process was simple and very easy. The CO only asked a couple of questions, was very impressed with our organization of evidence and his love for me.

She was impressed with his knowledge of me, and asked if he studied for the interview. He told her that he didn't study, but if he didn't know me after almost 5 years of dating, he had no business getting married to me.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
