Ugh..I'm getting worried now about our 6 months entry...he still has 8 months of army! I do NOT want to go through this process again in 2 years or something...

How long is it from NOA2 till the actual visa is issued? I mean...if anyone knows?

01/23/2009 ----------Leave Athens and my Honey for the processes to begin

02/10/2009 ----------Beginning of Greek Military Obligations for 11 months

03/21/2009 ----------Stationed to Rhodes

07/16/2009-----------Meeting in Spain for 6 days!

08/27/2009-----------Stationed to Nevrokopi

01/10/2010-----------Gets OUT of the Army!

02/16/2010-----------Interview!

02/24/2010-----------Lampros arrives in WA!!!

He didn't just want me long, he wanted me a little longer than forever... :3

How long is it from NOA2 till the actual visa is issued? I mean...if anyone knows?

It is very Embassy specific... but the averages are 138 days from NOA1 to NOA2 and then roughly 49 days from the Embassy receiving the file to the interview.. .with some time, maybe 15 days in between to get the file from USCIS to NVC and then on to the Embassy. But you can slow down the process somewhat by sending in your packet 3 and such, plus contacting the Embassy asking them to delay... Then you have 6 months to actually use the Visa to enter.

I wouldn't worry (too much)

Well, it seems I just need to play it by ear, and kind of delay some little things.

dec-08 -officially engaged,i went back to France to apply for k1

2-11-09:noa1

3-06-09:My angel is visiting me

3-16-09:my angel is going back to the states

6-06-09: received NOA 2 HARDCOPY!!!!! ( notice date:-05-29-09)

It wasnt updated on the site? so I can stop checking it?

no touch, no update , not even an email which is why i didn t even know we were approved a week ago til we got it in the mail

i just checked and it s still showing as pending online

im so happy , i had to move back to france after 8 years , and leave my honey after 2 years of being together to start this k1 process, and time is going so slow, iv been here since december and it feels like 10 years, so today i do feel better and i have hope...

but i also feel sad for everyone else, i know how bad the waiting is and how depressing it can get, but i also know that we re gonna see a lot of approval this coming up week :thumbs:

and u guys are just awesome :devil:
