Hi guys. We sent out our AOS paperwork on Monday June 5th, in overnight mail so it should have been there by the 6th. We haven't recieved an NOA1 yet....I never got an actual mailed NOA1 after submitting our 129F....is it definete that they send you one after recieving your stuff? Maybe I'm just jumping the gun...I just want to know if they got it!

Two more questions - how can I check the status of my case?

And for biometrics and if we need an infopass appointment is it done at the CLOSEST center or at the center in your state? We live in western wisconsin and Minneapolis/St. Paul would be the closest but the one in our state is in Milwaukee....

Hello Amanda,

Yes you should receive a NOA1. You can only make an infopass after 90 days for the EAD. I think they will send you a letter telling you where to go for the biometrics.

05/15/06 Wedding for Visa

06/10/06 Mailed AOS papers

07/06/06 Biometerics Apt

07/15/06 My offical wedding day....I know .....:-)

08/25/06 EAD Approvel

09/01/06 EAD in Hand

09/26/06 AOS Interview (Recommend for Approval)

10-05-06 Received Welcome Letter

10-10-06 Green Card Arrived.

You should receive an NOA for your AOS. It can take a couple of weeks for you to receive it.

The biometrics appointment letter gives you the address that you need to go to have them done.

This is the USCIS web site. To check the status of your case u need the receipt number. You don't have one yet because it appears on your NOA1, that u don't have yet. So all u have to do is wait for the NOA1 and then u can check your status

Hi!

We live in Dunn County (close to Menomonie) and our local office is Bloomington/MN. I just had my biometrics taken at the USCIS Support Center in St. Paul (University Ave.)

We got it today!!! We recieved 2 letters, one for the AP and one for EAD...should there have been a third for his i-485?

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail
