@ Staashi - Congrats! Can't wait to see pics.

@ Vi - Congrats on having Sofia home. How is it going?

About breastfeeding - I really wanted to breatfeed and struggled with it, not producing enough milk, had to use a shield to help Declan latch. We got into a groove for about 2 weeks after I took Reglan to increase milk supply, and it was such a wonderful feeling. Then, Declan had surgery and stopped breastfeeding while he was in the hospital and I never could get him going again. So I echo what Chrissy said, don't beat yourself up if breastfeeding doesn't work.

Declan and hubby left today to go to CT to visit my family and for hubby to help my stepfather with a construction project. Since hubby is unemployed right now, Declan has only been in daycare 3 days a week (to allow for hubby to job hunt). Daycare doesn't allow us to increase Declan to 5 days a week temporarily, so, since I have to work, Declan had to go to CT with hubby. I am missing my sweet boy already!!!

Wow Nessa, it's coming up!!! Can't wait to see new baby pics.

I keep seeing pregnant ladies everywhere and I SOOOO want to be pregnant again. Of course, hubby needs to be working before that happens (which honestly means we probably need to move as there are NO carpentry jobs up here). I am hoping everything gets into place for us by the time Declan is 1 1/2 to 2 years :)

Girls!

I survived the first night, but got just 3 hours of sleep, it was really crazy, Sofia was awake from 1:00 am -3:20am, I was breastfeeding most of that time, I don't understand what happen, she did well during the day waking up every 3 hours but the night was a mess, I'm so tired, I'm trying to sleep when she sleeps but I have so many things to do, plus but have people visiting. I hope tonight she sleeps better. Crossing my fingers  .

About breastfeding, it's very natural I really enjoy it+ I have alot of milk, can't complain but I keep getting free samples of formula, it seems that people from Enfamil and Similac love me, hahaha.

Gotta go

Good night everyone

@Vi: Mostly all babies have their days and nights messed up. Baby is awake while mommy sleeps and kicks around. It will get better. It took Allie about 8 weeks to figure it out, Adam was a lot faster with that.

About breastffeding: There wasn't a doubt in my mind that I'll breastfeed. It wasn't a weird thought or anything. I'm glad it worked out so well for us.

Breastfeeding: I wanted it very badly and I am glad it works out. I read about the benefits and was dead-set on it afterwards. We had to work really hard in the beginning but it all worked out and I am very happy.

California Baby: We use their stuff and are very happy. We buy it at drugstore.com, on sale, plus with our Discover card which offers 10% cashback on purchases from drugstore.com.

MsBOllinger & Stashi: Congratz on the little ones!

Vi: I'm glad Sofie is finally home and that everything works out so nicely!

Our flight to Frankfurt went well in regards to Jona, he slept for 8 hours and played the rest of the time. He was everyone's darling on the plane and kept smiling. The airline however and the flight attendants were rude. We did not get the booked bassinet seat, we were not allowed to board early on (usually families with babies are) and I did not get any assistance with putting my carry-on away. Instead the flight attendants were annoyed by a child and that it took 5 (WOW) minutes to change his diaper in the bathroom (there is only one bathroom on the plane with a changing table). ALl the other mommies were pretty upset about the behavior on the plane as well. I will complain big time back in the US. THis was United Airlines - extremely family unfriendly!

oh god, i used to change Dylan on my lap on the plane on the way to england, those areas in the bathroom are super small, no one complained as i was quick, and also we were never able to board early with our family, seems like you should be able 2

We flew Continental to India and families with small children were allowed to get on the plane early. Well first was first class, then ppl with special tickets and business class, then families with small kids...then everyone else. It was very handy!! I will say though that of the flight attendants we dealt with, half were nice and half acted like hey hated their jobs. I heard them complaining about their jobs on various flights. Not very professional!! But I found the flights family friendly. I was able to get warm milk for Kavi's bottles if I needed it, and they would ask if there was anything they could get for him. We plan to go Continental again on our future trip to India, also because they had one of the best deals.

As far as I could tell, there was a changing thing in every bathroom. Of course on the flight to India, it's a huge plane with at least 4 bathrooms in the economy section. We were seated right near the rear, by bathrooms, which I also loved.

Wow that sucks about the flights. When Ron took Declan to Canada, he said everyone was great, really helpful and understanding. Maybe it was because he was a single guy traveling with a baby and everyone took pity on him
