To top off my great news, I won HOME FUN DERBY tickets from some online State Farm contest. They ARE the sponsors. Woo hoo. Don't know where seats are yet; but have high hopes for some bleacher action!!!!!!

Orientation was Wednesday. The Convention Center looks awesome. Start my shifts tomorrow. I'm so excited.

Better news just came down though..........I WON HOME RUN DERBY tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't stopped dancing around this office since I found out. From State Farm, the sponsor. Hoping that means really good seats too.

I swear MLB is trying to kill us. 5 hours of running/standing on concrete kills your back, your legs, and your ankles.

On a bright note, I got to work with ####### Williams, Gaylord Perry, Orlando Cepeda, Tom Henke, Cal & Billy Ripken yesterday. Worth it just for that. And, it is sort of fun.
