AOS Denials ?

Just curious..

I've been following the threads in this forum way before I signed up and it seems like the approval rate is pretty high. For the last 4 months, I haven't come across denials except for technical reasons like not getting the interview letter on time and not turning in the RFEs.

Is this representative of the actual AOS statistics or does the success rate seem high because only the successful interviewees like to post their experiences?

Can someone point me to threads about AOS denials?

Well to be truly honest good for everyone! I wish everyone to get approved soon I dont care as long as they don't deny me (Hopefully not!!)

I know there are a couple of reasons I have read so far that causes denials:

1) The USCIS mailed the interview letter but the beneficiary never got it so didnt attend the interview

and

2) Failed to return RFE or failed to submit proper evidence for RFE

can't find the links, those are the two i have read on.

One of the possible explanations I can think of is that we have only real marriages here.

There certainly are people who marry in order to get a Green Card, don't live together, and don't pass their AOS interviews. But those who commit a fraud might rely on a lawer and not on a friendly advice you can get at this forum.

I believe it's the latter rather than the former... also because the posters at this forum have genuine intentions... individuals with a genuine relationship have little to fear from the USCIS...

I believe it's the latter rather than the former... also because the posters at this forum have genuine intentions... individuals with a genuine relationship have little to fear from the USCIS...

It's reassuring to know that USCIS officers are pretty good at identifying genuine marriages, asking the right questions and reading body languages. I guess other than the delays, occasionally losing some paperwork, some typographical errors and the mostly unreliable online status, USCIS is actually good at what they do

Uhmm.... right...This process is really stressful so that I argue with my husband so many times because of the papre work, timeline, RFE, and more...I believe that these are too much process and patient for a fake marriage...

But.. for us, I hope this process is less stressful than like this...
