HOW DID YOU GET THE GREEN LIGHT TO GENERATE THE BILLS? HOW DID YOU GENERATE THE BILLS? DID YOU FOLLOW THE SHORT CUTS? I KNOW IT SOUNDS LIKE I AM INTERROGATING YOU, BUT I AM JUST CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT I NEED TO DO NEXT SINCE I HAVE A CASE NUMBER, I DON'T WANT TO JUMP GUN AND PAY WHEN I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO.

Hi there peters,

I think most of us are following the LingChe NVC ShortCut which explains everything. Instead of waiting, basically when you call and get confirmation that the forms/bills along each step of the way have been generated then you go ahead and download/fill out the forms (including barcodes) yourself and skip waiting on the mailing times. Chek it out! And good luck at NVC!

Ditto, these guides will really help but it is important not to send or try to pay anything until it has been generated. You can make your own barcode for the DS-3032 (see the guide) and once NVC says it has been generated you can email and send the hard copy in (signed by the beneficiary).

Then you need to wait for the IIN (invoice identification number) to pay any generated bills online. Again wait until they have been generated. Once paid from the online site you will be able to print a bar-coded cover sheet to send in with each package (I-864 and DS-230).

Just take it one step at a time. We are all going through it together so we can help each other. Good luck!

o.k, that was really helpfull, thanks to u all. I think i have every information needed now to follow the short cut. off i go!

Just a suggestion to everyone but maybe we could also note in our posts whether the updates are obtained from the AVR or directly from an operator. Let's keep it going NVC.

Thanks Jaqui, I corrected that. I added one last column - "Embassy Location" You will just need to scroll over a bit to see it.

Tried calling NVC tonight to check on the DS3032 but they were closed. Must be the snowy weather through the northeast today.

Congratulations!

We just got approved today too!

I kept checking my e-mail, hoping to get the NOA2 notice, but nothing! Then today Michael checked the USICS online status check and there it was! We submitted the 129 package on September 2nd, so we have been waiting about 5 months. We are just so excited and shocked! I am estimating now, that he'll be able to return to the US in 2 months! I think we'll start planning the wedding for May 30, 2009!

I hope that everyone else waiting for their approvals, receive them soon!
