Ummmm, nooo. Divorce is never allowed in the Catholic Church. A couple may separate but they will never be granted a divorce. If a couple feels strongly enough they may petition for an annulment. But an annulment means that a marriage was entered into invalidly. Even in the case of adultery, if you married knowing that you were never going to remain faithful, then yes, you may be granted an annulment. But let's say, you married fully intent on having a wonderful marriage, and you committed adultery later then no - no annulment for you. One of the reasons why the Church makes it so difficult to annul a marriage is especially in the case of children - they don't want children to be seen as illegitimate, and not conceived in a valid marriage. Also, annulment has so many laws and aspects to it that I see it as almost impossible to attain. Aside from that, Catholics do divorce in a court system - but they're not doing it in a religious environment, in front of Canon Law Judges; but in front of a family law judge. One other thing, many Catholics who have married in the Church and subsequently divorce, find it extremely difficult to continue on in their faith as they no longer are allowed to participate fully in the Catholic Mass - as they can no longer take communion.

Really? My Bible uses the word "divorce."

Your Bible might, but the Church doesn't.
