Hey nutty,

We finally got approved :dancing:

How have you been?

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Hey LP! Liking the new name! Nice!

Not much going on here. Waleed is still in the Egyptian Military. His release date is April 30th this year. We hope to get an interview for the IR-1 soon. I'm going to Egypt for the summer. That's about it! Thanks for checking in.

Hi Nutty

how are things?

My hubby ended up coming on November 13th. What you been up to?

Wow! Great to Hear!!! The holidays for you (and him) must have been a whirlwind! Not only having to adjust to each other again, but then all the festivities and shopping, cooking....

Hope things are settling down now. :star:

I'm doing well, waiting patiently for AP to finish.

Can't believe your AP is going on a year! I give you credit for being so calm. I was a mess after a few months (I know I had it easy compared to you).

Keep strong!

What's the title and are you getting it published? Maybe you should have your husband refer to your book to cook you something! :P

long time no see. (F)

Thank you Charles :star:

Hey Nutty!!! Things are good missed u around here

I like your new photo!!! Hope your husband is getting better at his driving!

Ohhhhh another person with hubby from Iran!

I will be glad to help you in advice for your Iranian husband adjusting to USA. However, he is already in Canada and that means he has had "exposure" to the west already. Making the leap to USA isn't much harder. My husband on the other hand is a total newbie and highly sensitive to the subject of Iran.

Hey sweetie, I pray you are well. Please keep in touch!

I'm trying. But life has been busy. I get on the computer about once a week for personal use.

Hey nutty,

We finally got approved :dancing:

How have you been?

Up and down. But basically ok. Glad to hear your sweetie is on his way for an interview. Congratulations!

Summer is coming up fast for your reunion! I just noticed Waleed is going to be posted in Gaza. What terrible news! I will keep you and him in my prayers. I hope he is just on the border and won't be in direct conflict.

It's only been 46 days.....(seems like a year tho)

Oops still thinking I am in 2007 (2 years younger). I know how the days drag, so I feel your pain.
