today inshallah, we are sending our I-130 petition, i wonder if we should write something in the envelope to show that we are sending an original submission of I-130 petition or just write down the adress of chicago lockbox, please help

Send a cover letter. Here's an example. Of course certain things need to be altered. The beneficiary birth certificate is not required but I sent it because I had it.

- Additional document showing Beneficiary address in Chinese alphabet and name and address of present employer

- Copy of petitioners US Birth certificate

- Photocopy of notarial Birth certificate for Beneficiary

- Photocopy of notarial Marriage Certificate

- G-325A forms for Petitioner and Beneficiary

- Passport type photos for Petitioner and Beneficiary

It's an "example". My wife is Chinese. It's best to mail in the native language there. If it applies, change it to the appropriate alphabet. If not, delete it.

Some people put "I-130 ORIGINAL SUBMISSION" on the outside of the envelope. Not necessary but may help!

Can't hurt but the lockbox address announces the contents that are supposed to be inside.

i have a question...what envelope did you use to put all your documents in? just a regular brown envelope and addressed it to the USCIS? i stopped by the post office today to ask what type of package shipping they do...i think ill go with the one that has the confirmation delivery receipt...the lady said they would let me know if they have sent it already...its only a additional 60 cents...i just want to make my documents are received...is the tracking number for priority mail only?
