Had my GC interview today

I had my interview today for my green card and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. All the horrors stories I read prior to going had me so nervous I had to shakes on my way down to charleston. Our case looked so suspicious as well because not only did we try to adjust the last time I visited my husband but changed our minds the last minute, but we hardly had any evidence of our relationship as I left all that stuff in England because I really didn't plan on staying and I came here using VW

I sat in the waiting room with 5 other couples who had books, folders, document packs and photo albums, you name it. Whatever documents we had could easily be fit in an envelope. We waited for 15 minutes then a really nice officer came outside called my name and once we got to the room he made us swear an oath. We sat down he started asking my husband about life in the army, asked him 2 questions - when we met and what date we got married, one of which he got wrong, he asked me the clarify my date of birth address, took a look at my approved i-130, took my work permit, looked at my social security card, talked about football and the rivalry between my team- new england and his- the dolphins, looked at our wedding pictures and then approved my green card, thanked my husband for serving and in 10 minutes we were on our way. No questions about my intent, no proof of home tighes nothin.

I can't say its gonna be like that for everyone but it sure worked out for us.

Thank God

Bye Visajourney until 2011 when I lift conditions.
