Trang went to the embassy to take the timeline and list of relatives they asked for today. After she give she said they did not ask any questions really except small talk and then asked her when she can go to America and then handed her the pink paper with a date of Jan 12 to come back to get her visa. I am a bit stunned and extremely happy. She is so excited that she can hardly think straight. We will get together later after she gets some sleep (I know she has slept little for weeks) and then tell me more what happen and I wll soon relay it here for all.

Again many thanks to all the help everyone has given me. I especially want to thank all that prayed for me. It is awesome so many sent prayers.

Craig Cam. Thanks and 2009 is shaping up to be the best year ever in my life.

Icarus. I am supposed to come off the road withing one year of getting married but who knows. San Diego is beautiful.

Zee Bee. Many thanks and good luck on the continuing journey.

Dave Thao. LOL. I always laugh at the hat and not really like the hat but right now I am going to tell her to bring the hat and an extra and want her to bring it on the honeymoon. The hat is very beautiful to me now. Many thanks and God bless.

Mr Leggs. Many thanks and good luck on the journey. I will add you to my prayers.

Jack and Xuan. Yes and maybe no one is more surprised than me. I know that your ordeal is not over yet but please let me assure you that with perseverance and patience it will end happily. I will not only add you to my prayers but do anything to help. Please let me know if ever need anything. God bless you and Xuan.

LilloveBug. Many thanks and good luck on your journey.

I arrived home last night and about to head to her Aunt and Uncles house now. They are very happy and just found out that they already have called many other family. I am getting calls from many. Lol.

Even an almost 50 year old man who has become jaded and seems to have seen it all already can find happiness again. I had given up a few years ago on finding a soul mate. I even said no many times to the offer to talk to a friends Niece and for some reason I said yes. That moment did not seem like much of a step at the time. Something hit me after we chatted for awhile when I found myself laughing so often at her and myself. Not sure why even now. Trang and I has moved ahead and become soul mates now. Still not friggin sure why and how it happened. We had seemed so different but also so alike in many ways. How can this be so? Who cares and why not. I am very thankful for this chance at happiness again. I will do what I can to make God proud of me to give me this what could be my last chance at happiness. Any trials and tribulations that may come along can be overcome. I know this now as I would have never understand many years ago.

God bless and good luck to each and everyone of us.

Congrats to both of you for making it through this process. It can be so very trying at times. But I am sure you are feeling the same as Linh and I did when the pink paper was delivered. She and her brother were dancing in the street outside the consulate.

Wonderful news to start the (non lunar) new year!!!!!
