For the interview, do i need a valid ID to be shown to the Guards or anyone in there so i can enter the USEM?

K-1 Visa

Service Center : California Service Center

Consulate : Manilla, Philipines

I-129F Sent : 2008-07-16

NVC Received : 2008-12-04

Interview Date : 2009-01-08

Visa Received : 2009-01-20

I was asked to present a valid ID along with my appointment letter.I presented my SSS ID and it was enough.Just bring along with you any of your government issued IDs or student/company ID. Good luck!!! :thumbs:

Regardless of any other ID, the passport is required because if successful, you'll be leaving it there so the visa can be affixed to one of the pages. Passport is sufficient ID for entry.

In Philippines St Lukes medical keeps the passport and forwards it to the embassy with the medical results, so showing the passport is not a option.

Beneficiaries in PI have their passport taken at their immigration medical exams and the PPs are forwarded to USEM . They don't have the option of using PP for ID to enter!
