I did not expect the letter from CSC in the mail this afternoon to be an approval letter. But it was. It sure is a plesant suprise. We have not even been able to see the status on line - I guess because we never received a biometric appointment letter. Biometrics were ordered by Santa Ana, CA local office during an infopass appointment.

Can you pl explain a bit abt biometrics ? Sounds like since you didnot receive biometrics appt letter so you went through infopass to inquire abt it and they decided to take the print right there in local office or did they give you biometrics appt letter and you went to do the printing to a specified center on same day ?

Thanks and congrats again...way to start 09 !!!

It had been a copule of months since NOA1 and we had not received a biometrics appointment so we decided to go for an infopass appointment. They offered my wife to go for biometrics the same day. They gave her couple of options of ASC offices in the area. We went to one about a mile away.

Congratulations!

I just had my approval letter in the mail yepeeee....so glad......I expected anything but that....

Have very similar dates than CaliOC (sp?).

Will see how long it takes to get the Green Card......

It took almost 2 month for my biometrics appointment - until I received it.....

All together it took 3.5 month until I sent the petition and got the approval.

Hope everyone gets theirs soon as well!!!!!

God bless!!!!!

Hi there, i received the approval notice today too, but unfortunately i found they only put my initial for my first name, last name is correct. Please advise what your look like? I am worried about the correct name on green card now. Thanks!
