Afternoon Sub and boo boo,

I am blessed every mornig I wake up next to my husband. The minute he feels that I am awake he is ready to pray with me.

My mom drove an hour in the snow to pick us up and go to church 30 minutes away. I just love my mom!

Now we have the rest of the day to ourselves and I have been blessed with Martin Luther King day off. My son is going to a speacial MLK breakfast with other youths his age. My friend has a nonprofit called Interfaith Youth that is sponcering this event.

I just hope the snow lets up to allow us to travel.

good morning everyone, I hope that everyone has a Blessed Day :)

Can't wait for this with SO!

In other things - I just read that Inaugeration is costing $150 MILLION, WTH???? How on earth can a government spend that much on 4 days?? I sure can think of a whole lot of other things to spend that money on than a big 4 day party. :ranting: How about start testing all the places that plant in Georgia sends its peanut products to? So much for trimming the excess

:ot2: Had a good day, went to church heard awesome sermon, then had a small group meeting afterwards with a great lunch.

I have to wonder why in a time of severe problems being caused by uncontrolled spending what the future holds for a president that outspends any prior president by 3 times just to have a party to celibrate himself. Scary isn't it.

about 2.40 a gallon so a 50 % change in gas makes a 300 % change in spending on a party for the president by the president ok ????? May I ask which political party you belong to ... if your spending logic isn't a big clue

Obama deserves every penny on his Inauguration day. First this includes the cost of increased security. Obama will have to have double the security then any other president, because there are still ignorant people out there that will attempt to kill him just for the pure fact of his race. Increased cost on security will go hand and hand on the fact that this Inauguration will have a historical turnout.

There are amazing things to come out of his election term.

Whether you are Democratic or Republican, you can see the worst in each party. So there is no need to spend time arguing over who is right and wrong, spend time on what is needed to be done today to right the wrongs of yesterday.

We can find things each party spends money on that we do not agree on. Lets focus on things the money is spent on that we agree with?

Bringing the focus back to the people and not the business is a good thing. Our founding fathers started this government of the people by the people for the people not government of the businesses, by the businesses for the businesses.

 ...never said I agreed with it, did I? Just sayin give the man a chance. Can't compare apples and oranges. My political affiliation has nothing to do with anything..I voted for the best candidate...not for a political party. It's walking the walk...not just talking the talk! It's past due for change, and the proof will be in the pudding!

BTW...there is no logic when it comes to governmental spending. Can't please all of the people all of the time, now can u?
