I spoke with my attorney last night and she emailed me some info that was even more crazy. My girl is getting interviewed through Bogoata which is fast but seems they decided last week to add more personel to process even faster so soon as package is dropped she informed me get ready real quick, lol.....guess i shouldn't unpack..lol

First and foremost - Felicitaciones!!!! Congrats PapaJeff and Classicrock!!! Go party, celebrate - this is gonna be a great New Year for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Second, I´m curious as to why people get approved out of order. USCIS says they process cases in first come first serve order, but here we see that that is clearly not the case. Any thoughts?

Again, congrats and quick processing to all!!!!

Ken, a friend of mine is an immigration lawyer and he was giving me a quick explanation. Basically, these petitions come in, and are put into boxes. The boxes are assigned to USCIS workers in the order that they come. But some USCIS workers are faster than others and can go through their assignments faster.

So there isn't a central pool of files that the workers pull from in chronological order. Instead, there are various, smaller collections that are processed as fast or as slow as the person assigned to them.

...at least, that's the way it was explained to me!

Good luck,

-JB
