George W. Bush is on pace to impose more last-minute changes to federal rules than any president in history. Many consider Bush's "midnight regulations" to be a parting gift to big industry and against the greater public interest. Discussions are already underway to see if the next Congress can undo what the Bush White House has done.

While abhorrent, every President in modern times does this. It's a final "Hail Mary" or "#### You" depending on which side of the aisle you're on. I'd like to see some kind of legislation introduced to put limits on this kind of silliness, but I'm not sure it could be done without completely crippling the President during his final days in office. More than likely it's just something we have to live with, no matter who's in office.

If he's going to pardon anyone, and in the spirit of the current economic bailouts, he should pardon the Detroit Lions. :diablo:

Heard on the news this morning, Obamas' team is making a long long list, executive orders can be reversed instantly by the new president, Obama is going to have a very busy first day. Everyone should send him a pen.

Poor Blago... not much lovin' in the air for him now.

Hey, I like him! Just not his haircut

It IS pretty out there. Ran into him and his daughter at the movies once. I had to duck out of the way of his hair like President Bush ducked the flying shoes.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
